Many cargo entries can be filed without a license. However, these entries are specific to non-dutiable situations and are still subject to penalties if not completed correctly.
More important than a license is the bond. Customs will not accept an entry that is not assured by a one-time or continuous bond. Edward International holds multiple continuous bonds and only uses bonded transportation and storage for logistics.
Because our schedule of fees is subject to change, it is not available to download, but we will send it to you upon request.

As per 19 CFR 141, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires a power of attorney letter that names the broker or agent to file on behalf of the consignee. CBP requires all brokers to vet their customers, as well.
All new or potential customers will be asked to review and return our service agreement, which includes the power of attorney letter as addendum.
Edward International does not request exclusivity contracts, and all terms are negotiable.
Some shipment entries can be filed and accepted within a few minutes. However, this is subject to many moving parts working together with peak efficiency.
In order to mitigate unforeseen problems with the filing and release, we recommend sending your pre-alert to our email address (operations@edwardintl.com) at least 2 (two) business days prior to the freight’s arrival.
Yes, Edward International can file with AMS (Automated Manifest System), if needed.
We can also file AES (Automated Export System) for items being shipped out of the U.S.
